There is a desparate need for our society to change the prevailing accepted normality of transportation both in the U.S. and everywhere.

Evidence abounds around us that the climate is heating up, the exhaust from fossil fuel powered vehicles is choking us to death, the side effects of extracting and processing and distributing fossil fuels are poisoning everything around us, the din of modern traffic is an unholy racket, our valuable land is being swallowed under a sea of highways and parking lots, and more ... basically, lots of things are wrong with the current transportation system, and we need to fix everything.

This web site is an attempt to tell that story.
